Cajun Brown Sugar Rubbed New York Strip Steak
- One 14 ounce center cut New York Strip Steak
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup Cajun spice
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and rub over steak. (making sure to completely coat the steak on both sides)
Cover the steak and let it marinade overnight.
Preheat grill to high for gas or indoor grills or make sure charcoal coals are "glowing".
Cook over medium-high flame for 5 minutes per side for rare, adding more time for medium to well-done.
